If you are like me and have several machine (Virtual and Physical) in your office, lab or home, then you are going to want to use the file linked in this blog entry. Rather than having all of your machines individually downloading Windows XP SP3 via Windows Update, just download this file to a network share (or CD, or USB key) and physically do the update from the network. It will be much faster than Windows Update, if you have more than one machine to update.
